Ido Batash is a choreographer and professional dancer based in Ghent, Belgium. Between 2002 and 2025, he performed with leading international companies and choreographers, including Kabinet K (Joke Laureyns & Kwint Manshoven), les ballets C de la B (C(H)OEURS and nicht schlafen by Alain Platel), Meytal Blanaru, Inbal Pinto & Avshalom Pollak Dance Company, NND–Itzik Galili Dance, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Idan Cohen, Talia Back, Léa Vinette, Roy Assaf, and more.
Since 2009, he has been creating his own choreographies presented internationally and developing interdisciplinary projects connecting artists, choreographers, and scientists. He teaches contemporary dance and movement workshops, sharing his approach to embodied awareness and creative expression. He is also deeply engaged in inclusive dance, collaborating with Platform-K to support dancers with disabilities and with KASK School of Arts to train emerging young artists.
In 2022, together with Zoë Christiaens, he founded FREEFALL vzw in Ghent — a space dedicated to dance and movement research, offering space for artistic exploration, collective practice, and community exchange.
