Auditions for entry to the School od the Centre national de danse contemporaine take place two years out of three. They take place in two rounds, at the end of which a maximum of 20 students are selected to enter the first year. Auditions for the academic year 21/22 are in progress. The following auditions will take place in the first semester of 2022, for the academic year 22/23.
First round (online): → Applications open February 1, 2021 → Closing date for applications: March 14, 2021 The results of the first round will be released the week of March 29, 2021.
Second round (in person, subject to the health situation) → Four-days workshop in Angers from April 23 to 26, 2021. The results of the second round will be communicated during the week of May 3, 2021.

The registration fee for the first round (30 euros) is to be paid by check or Paypal at the time of application.
Paiement par Paypal : It is imperative to specify in the registration form the email address used for payment.
Payment by check: Check payable to the Cndc to be sent to: Auditions - Cndc - 17 rue de la Tannerie - CS 50107 - 49101 Angers cedex 2 Please indicate the first and last name of the applicant on the back of the cheque.
The four documents must imperatively be sent together by the candidate in the form of a unique link generated by wetransfer and copied in an email (attention, files sent directly by wetransfer will not be taken into account).
Applications will only be considered upon receipt of a complete and compliant application form and the corresponding payment.
2nd round: 23-26 April
(subject to health situation)
Successful candidates from the first round will participate in a four-days workshop at the Cndc in Angers from April 23 to 26, 2021. The details of this workshop will be sent by e-mail to the successful candidates. The registration fee for the 2nd round is 20 euros. Travel, meals and accommodation for the stay in Angers are at the charge of the candidates. Candidates selected for the 2nd round and whose place of residence is outside the European Union may request an exemption to take the 2nd round remotely. Such requests for exemption will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
